Helen Himes

Helen Himes, 77, of Zanesville, died at 2:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at the LPN Health Care Facility in Newark. She was born August 11, 1931, in Noble County, Ohio, a daughter of the late Fred and Bertha Wickham LaHue. She was a member of the Evangelism Center UPC.. Surviving are a sister, Lalia (Oscar) Blaney of Zanesville; a brother, Ronald (Phyllis) LaHue of Zanesville; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack L. Himes, who died October 16, 1986; a sister, Jewell Hicks; and two brothers, Jesse and Paul Butler. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday, May 14, 2009 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 15, 2009 at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Arthur Potts officiating.
