Helen M. (Rush) Hupp, 90, of Zanesville, slowly and peacefully passed away at 12:50 p.m. Sunday, February 6, 2011 at the Willow Haven Care Center. She was born January 28, 1921, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late William Martin and Clara Louisa Wells Rush. During her 90 years, she was a member of the Coburn United Methodist Church and also attended the North Terrace Church of Christ. Helen was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star #485. Helen was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother and a friend to anyone she came in contact with. She will be missed by many. Surviving are a daughter, Cindy Hupp (John) Stiverson of Zanesville; 5 grandchildren, Trever Hupp of Vermilion, OH, Khali Stiverson (Ryan) Thogmartin and Cody Stiverson, both of Zanesville, Courtney Stiverson (Matthew) Farley of Sumter, SC and Khloe Stiverson of Zanesville; 4 great grandchildren, Hannah and Hunter Hupp, both of Tiffin, OH, Kihryn and Kwynce Thogmartin, both of Zanesville; a brother, Howard Rush of Jacksonville, FL; and a niece, Clara Lou McDaniel of Gahanna, OH. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul E. Hupp, who died July 10, 1997; a son, Daniel Hupp; three brothers, Albert, Emmett and Donald Rush; two sisters, Louella England and Mary Rush; and a nephew, Bill Rush. Friends and family may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 10, 2011 at the funeral home with Mr. William Meaige officiating. Helen will be laid to rest next to her husband in Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
