Helen M. (Capan) Toth

Helen M. Toth, 99, of Zanesville, died at 10:25 p.m. Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at Genesis Hospice-Morrison House. She was born October 22, 1911, in Trafford, PA, a daughter of the late Michael and Mary Draskovich Capan. She was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church and enjoyed Line Dancing and Square Dancing at the Muskingum County Center for Seniors. Surviving are two daughters, Patricia (William) Gonda and Nancy Starner, both of Zanesville; a son, John Toth of Zanesville; a son-in-law, Jerry Wolfe of Zanesville; nine grandchildren, Mary (Michael) Waldron of Swainton, NJ, Andrew (Christine) Gonda of Hilliard, David (Shelly) Gonda, Brad (Kelly) Wolfe and Becky (Joe Walpole) Wolfe, all of Zanesville, Beth (Steve) Dittoe of Somerset, Julie (Jay) Soriano of Dexter, MI, Stacy (Natalie) Starner of Avon, IN and Hillary (Joe McGee) Starner of Zanesville; nineteen great grandchildren; and all her many friends at the Sunrise Senior Center. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Toth, who died May 28, 1978; two daughters, Mary Toth and Rose Wolfe; two sisters, Frances Grable and Louise Capan; and two brothers, Joseph and Michael Capan. Friends and family may call from 2-6 p.m. Sunday, September 18, 2011 at Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville with Vigil Services at 5:45 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, September 19, 2011 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, 925 Main St., Zanesville with Father Martin Ralko as celebrant. Helen will be laid to rest next to her husband, Joseph, at Mt. Olive Cemetery.
