Helen Catherine Willison

Helen Catherine Willison, 83, of 2991 North Maple Ave., Zanesville, went to be with her Lord at 11:50 a.m. Tuesday, April 3, 2007 at the Genesis Good Samaritan hospital. She was born December 19, 1923, in Muskingum County, the daughter of the late Carles and Carrie Blaine Rogers. Helen was a member of the Fair Oaks Baptist Church. Surviving are two daughters, Wanda Grant and Linda (Walter) Barnett, all of Zanesville; a son, David (Julie) Willison of Louisville, Oh.; a sister, Patsey (Rolland) Maxwell of Zanesville; seven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Amos Willison, who died January 26, 1997; by a granddaughter, Melinda Sue Grant; by two sisters, Barbara Reed and Esther Grannon; by two brothers, Ronald Rogers and Edward Rogers and a son-in-law, Lymon Grant. Friends may call 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Thursday, April 5, 2007 at Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 6, 2007 at the funeral home with the Rev. Gay Blau officiating. Burial will follow at Iliff Cemetery.
