Herbert D. Mohler

Herbert D. "Monty" Mohler, 65, of Zanesville, passed away Monday, September 17, 2012 at Genesis Hospice-Morrison House. He was born July 14, 1947, a son of the late Russell and Donna Jean Redman Mohler. Monty worked for Burnham for 42 years before he retired in September of 2011. He was a member of the Putnam Presbyterian Church, and he loved hunting, fishing, and the outdoors. Monty is survived by his wife, Joan A. Coury Mohler, whom he married on January 31, 1965; a daughter, Schree (Richard) Huber of Zanesville; three sons, Tye (Cari) Mohler of Zanesville, Jason Mohler of Zanesville, and Ryan (Katie) Mohler of Trinway; six grandchildren, Heather Billingsley, Sammy Billingsley, Jordan Mohler, Brandyn Mohler, Karson Mohler, and Ellie Mae Mohler; two great grandchildren, Gracie and Avah; two brothers, Rusty Mohler of Roseville, and Kenny Bob Mohler of Zanesville; and two sisters, Debbie (Glen) Blanton of Zanesville, and Donna Lynn Latier of Zanesville. Friends and family may call from 2:00-4:00 P.M. and 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, September 20, 2012 with Mr. Dave Watton officiating. A dignified cremation will take place following the service.
