Herman E. Doc Krouskoupf, 88, of Zanesville, died at 9:20 A.M. on Thursday, April 14, 2016, at Genesis Hospice-Morrison House. He was born August 31, 1927, in Zanesville, a son of the late Arthur F. and Pauline Ayasse Krouskoupf. He was a United States Navy Veteran of World War II and retired as a shift foreman from Brockway Glass after 42 years, and was a member of Immanuel United Church of Christ. Doc enjoyed spending time working in his yard and attending events of his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Mary L. Taylor Krouskoupf, whom he married July 13, 1957; a daughter Tamra (Steve) Kincer of Westerville; a son Rev. Terry (Joyce) Krouskoupf of Matteson, IL; five grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five sisters, Christina, Matilda, Louise, Charlotte and Olive; and two brothers, Fred Krouskoupf, and Eugene Krouskoupf who was killed in the Korean Conflict. Friends and family may call from 2-5 P.M. on Sunday, April 17, 2016 at BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE where the funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, April 18, 2016 with Pastor Mitch Reed officiating. He will be laid to rest at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery, Zanesville, with full military honors being presented by the United States Navy in conjunction with VFW George Selsam Post #1058 and American Legion Post #29.
