Hilda Roberts

Hilda Roberts, 89, of Massillion, died at 5:20 p.m. Sunday, February 26, 2006 at Aultman Hospital, Canton. She was born January 15, 1917 in Stoke-on-Trent, England. She was a homemaker, a member of the World Wide Church Of God and was an artist who specialized in Oil Paintings and enjoyed painting flowers the most. Surviving are a son, Philip C. (Rebecca) Roberts of Willoughby, two nieces, Judy (Peter) Conrad of Groveport and Margo (Jerry) Flaherty of Columbus. Besides her parents. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Edmund Roberts, who died August 17, 2000, two brothers, Leslie and Denis Cope, and a sister, Joan Cope Sommers. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 1, 2006 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville where services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 2, 2006 with Rev. Dean Cole officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park.
