Homer G. Brock

Homer G. Brock, 93, of Zanesville died at 6:40 p.m. Friday, January 13, 2006 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born June 27, 1912 in Zanesville a son of the late William H. And Edna McLain Brock. He was a coal miner for most of his life working for the Paul Coal Company on Dietz Lane and had also worked for Luburgh Construction. Surviving are a brother, Walter William Brock of Zanesville and several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews including Louise Noel, with whom he made his home with. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lolabelle Glosser Brock, four brothers, John, Newton, Harry and Robert Brock and two sisters, Florence and Flora. No calling hours will be observed. Graveside services will be held at Noon, Tuesday, January 17, 2006 at Greenwood Cemetery with the Rev. Joy French officiating. Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville entrusted with all arrangements.
