Howard Elmer Sweitzer

Howard Elmer Sweitzer, 88, of Zanesville, died at 10:10 A.M. on Monday, September 18, 2023, at his Veteran’s Home, surrounded by his loving family.  He was born November 6, 1934 in Pittsburgh P.A., son of the late Howard Fredrick and Evelyn (Winehaus) Sweitzer. Howard was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps.

He is survived by a son, James Sweitzer; a daughter Laurel (Eric) Kennedy; grandchildren, Ava Kennedy, Vanessa, Carson, and Madelyn Sweitzer; and a brother, Dale Sweitzer.

He will be laid to rest at Jefferson Memorial Park, Pittsburgh, PA. at a later date.
