I Marie Spung

I. Marie Spung, 79, passed away at 10:15 a.m. Saturday, August 20, 2005 at her residence. She was born September 18, 1925 in Zanesville, the daughter of the late Phillip and Pansy Sims Somers. Mrs. Spung was a Baptist by faith and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Surviving are her husband, Ronald C. Spung, whom she married in July 1955, of the home, a son, Randy D. (Beth) Spung of Zanesville, a sister, Violet C. (Robert) Weller of Zanesville, three grandchildren, Ryan, Abby, and Jonathan, special nieces and nephews, including a special niece Cheryl and her son Joseph. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Edward Somers and Richard Somers. No calling hours will be observed. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, August 23, 2005 at the Greenwood Cemetery with Mr. Bill Meiage officiating. The Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville is in charge of all arrangements.
