Irene Therese (Schumacher) Haus

Irene Therese Haus was called to be with the Lord on August 22, 2017. She was born July 14, 1931 to Fred and Marian Schumacher and spent her formative years with her siblings; Lee Schumacher (deceased), John Schumacher, George Schumacher, and Mary Lou Paskalik (deceased). But she spent the majority of her life with her loving husband, Jerry Haus, raising seven children: Greg Subotnik (Karen), Lori Subotnik, Doug Subotnik, Lolly Spilka (Jack), Karen Haus-Smith (Terrance), Doreen Stanley (Ethan), and Amy Jacoby (Mike). She enjoyed crossword puzzles and was an avid reader but her favorite moments were spent with family. She and Jerry built a successful business in Richfield, Ohio, and lived happily most of their lives in Brecksville, Ohio until moving to Punta Gorda Florida where they lived the past seventeen years. This loving grandmother to nine grandkids will be deeply missed. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at St. Basil the Great Catholic Church, 8700 Brecksville Road, Brecksville, Ohio.
