Jack E. Walker, 73, of Nashport, died at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at his home. He was born August 24, 1936, in Madison, WV, a son of the late Hubert Earl and Lottie Ross Walker. He worked for International Harvester in Chicago, Illinois and served in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. Jack enjoyed fishing, bowling and golfing. Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Eleanor I. Miller Walker, whom he married May 5, 1958, of the home; a daughter, Dreama Gail (David) Barnett of Zanesville; a son, Charlie (Terry) Walker of New Martinsville, WV; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; a sister, Linda (Bob) Retelski; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Louise Abshaire and Janet Wagner; and a brother Bob Tuck. No calling hours will be observed. A dignified cremation has taken place. Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville is entrusted with all arrangements.
