James W. Dovenbarger

James W. Dovenbarger, 56, of Zanesville, died at 12:45 P.M. on Wednesday, March 30, 2016, at the Genesis Hospital. He was born November 18, 1959, in Zanesville, a son of the late William and Margaret King Dovenbarger, He was a veteran of the United States Navy, had worked for Central Ohio Bandag Co., and was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church. He is survived by his wife, Myra L. Thress Dovenbarger, whom he married March 25, 2001; four children, Shaila (Travis) Worden, Trevor (Carli) Dovenbarger, Joshua (Abby) Dovenbarger and Rhonda Brennan; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild; two sisters, Pat and Dorothy (Ron) Harris; and a step-brother Don Dovenbarger. No calling hours will be observed. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE.
