James (Pap) "Grayghost" K. Lutz, 78, of Zanesville, died at 5:10 A.M. Sunday, October 2, 2005 at Genesis Hospice-Morrison House. He was born June 12, 1927 in Zanesville, a son of the late Arthur and Josephine Percilla Lutz. He had worked for Mosaic Tile Company and retired after 25 years of service for the City of Zanesville . He was a member of Sharon Avenue Free Methodist Church, past member of The Antique Steam and Gas Club. Jim was an avid camper and enjoyed dirt car racing. Surviving are a daughter, Pam (Fred) Fenton of Chandlersville, four sons, Thomas ( Jeannette Blake) Lutz , Jeffery Lutz, Jim Lutz all of Zanesville and Mike (Delia) Lutz of Florida, eight grandchildren, Jennifer (Randy) Bethel of Florida, Shannon Lutz of Florida, Misty (Jason) Hill of Zanesville, Amy (Justin) Thompson of Duncan Falls, Jeff Fenton of Zanesville and Amber Lutz, Kayla Lutz and Megan Lutz all of Crooksville, four great grandchildren, Mallory, McKenzie, Hannah & Tyler. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty J. Lutz and a sister, Virginia Lytle. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, October 4, 2005 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville where services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, October 5, 2005 with Pastor Doug Winner officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Olive Cemetery, Zanesville.
