Jane Kay Cowan, 75, of Zanesville, died at 7:45 A.M. on Wednesday, December 13, 2017, at The Oaks at Northpointe, Zanesville. She was born July 19, 1942, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Raymond and Mildred Bingman Stalnaker. She was the manager of rehabilitation at Good Samaritan Hospital for over thirty-three years, and was a member of Coburn United Methodist Church and the Ohio Nurses Association. She liked to travel and had seen most of the United States, Mexico, and the Caribbean. She liked to go to the family farm to go fishing and eating at Tee Jayes. She is survived by her husband Oran Cowan; a son, John (Denise) Cowan, of Grove City; three grandchildren, Mary, Michael, and Anna; a brother, Stanley (Marilyn) Stalnaker; many nieces and nephews; good friends, Fred Ingram, Barb Kangas, Mary Swope, Kathy Morrison, and everyone at Good Samaritan.
