Jane L. Wright, 92, of Zanesville, died January 1, 2010 at 5:10 a.m. at Adams Lane Care Center. She was born November 1, 1917 in Clarksburg, WV a daughter of the late Charles Bryn & Louise Markert Waybright. She was a graduate of Washington Irving High School, Clarksburg, WV and Potomac State College. She also attended Vanderbilt University School of Nursing. She worked for Robert B. Morrison, M.D. for 20 years and for Darell Smith, M.D. for 5 years. She was a member of Brighton Presbyterian Church where she was an ordained elder, and served as Clerk of Session for 4 years and a member of Junior Assembly Volunteer group at Bethesda for 15 years. Surviving are three son, Thomas Walter (Wanda) Wright of Portland, ME., John Markert (Ruth) Wright of Greenville, OH and Lee Edward (Judy) Wright of Scottsdale, AZ; ten grandchildren; 19 great- grandchildren; a sister, Anna Catherine Baumberger of Charlottesville, Va. Jane was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Walter William Wright who died in 2006. In addition to Walter she was preceded in death by her parents and by a brother John Jennings Waybright. Friends may call from11- 1 p.m. on Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at Brighton Presbyterian Church, 771 Lexington Avenue, Zanesville, Oh. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Suellen Skinner officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park. Memorial contribution may be made to Brighton Presbyterian Church, 771 Lexington Avenue, Zanesville, Oh 43701.
