Janet Louise Hillard

Janet Louise Hillard, 69, of Zanesville, died on Friday, November 1, 2024, at The Ohio State Medical Center. She was born February 19, 1955, in Ashland, Ohio, a daughter of the late Glenn and Maryanna (Filkens) Edington. Janet enjoyed baking, cheering for the Dallas Cowboys and Rusty Wallace, most of all Janet loved spending time with her grandson.

She is survived by her son Richard “Rick” (Kendra) Hillard; one grandson M.J. Hillard; sister, Brenda (Brad) Fisher; nephews, Jason (Shawna) Fisher, Justin (Olivia) Fisher, and Jeremy (Ricki Hill) Fisher; one great nephew; and two great nieces.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her son, Mark Hillard.

Friends and family may call from 12:00 NOON to 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE a graveside service will follow with Celebrant Lindsay Michel officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her beloved son, Mark at Williams Cemetery.
