Janis E. King, 64, of Zanesville, died at her home on Wednesday, July 4, 2012. She was born on April 4, 1948 in Martins Ferry, OH to the late Arthur and Elaine Swaton Jackson. Janis enjoyed baking for people and making Easter Candy. She got more enjoyment in seeing others enjoying her baked goods. She is survived by three sisters, Debbie (Chuck) Hedges of Carterville, IL, Cindy (Steve) Durant of Zanesville and Patty (Larry) Moore of St. Clairsville; a brother, Art (Judy) Jackson of Canyon, Texas; three nephews, Kenny (Carrie) Henry, Bryan (Tiffany) Jackson and Bo Moore; three nieces, Dee (Patrick) Austin, Jennifer (Anthony) Scarnecchia and Danielle (Travis) Hope; five great nephew; two great nieces; her loving K-9 Companions, King, Brandy and Zimba. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde E. King, who died on October 24, 1999; a brother, Gary Jackson and a great nephew, Jay Jackson.
