Jason M. Yerian, 37, of Zanesville, died Tuesday, August 14, 2012. He was born December 11, 1974 in Zanesville, a son to late Thomas D. Yerian and Diana J. Ullom Yerian, of Zanesville. He retired from the Muskingum County Sheriff's Office after 15 years of service, and was a member of the FOP Lodge. Surviving in addition to his mother are two sons, Mathew Yerian-French and Michael French of Thornville; one brother, Troy Yerian of Zanesville; two sisters, Deidra (David) Allen and Carry Yerian, both of Zanesville; four nieces, Anna Yerian of Belle Valley, Olivia and Sidney Allen of Zanesville, and Izabella Yerian of Zanesville; one nephew, Justin Allen of Zanesville; his best friend, David Johnson of Pataskala; his partner, Yorick (Dog Dog); two aunts, Alleda (Carl) Moore of St. Port Lucie, FL, and Carol Yerian of Newark; as well as many cousins. In addition to his father, Jason was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Lelia and Arland Yerian; and his maternal grandparents Sam and Thelma Ullom. Friends and family may call from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday, August 19, 2012, at Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville, where the funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, August 20, 2012 with Pastor Aaron Phillips officiating. Jason will be laid to rest at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery following the service.
