Javad Habibi

Dr. Javad Habibi, PhD, born July 30, 1943, passed away Sunday Nov 23, 2014. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Gity, daughter, Marjan (Dr. Frederick) Frost, and son Mehran (Dr. Angela) Habibi. He leaves behind four loving grand children, Shahrzad and Kian Frost, Rowan and Adrian Habibi, and four brothers and several nieces and nephews. Dr. Habibi was a graduate of Texas Tech University with a Ph.D in mathematics. He was a professor and chairman of mathematics department at Muskingum University before his retirement. Dr. Habibi won the outstanding teacher award at Muskingum, and touched the lives of many students. A private family ceremony and burial was held.
