Jean Scotte

Jean Scotte, 72, of Zanesville, died at 9:08 a.m. Thursday, October 13, 2011 at Genesis Good Samaritan emergency room. She was born May 23, 1939, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Howard T. and Eleanor McHenry Scotte. She had worked as a clerk for Royal Cleaners. She loved country music and was an avid fan of Jim Reeves and loved Indy Car Racing and was president of the Johnny Rutherford Fan Club. Surviving are three cousins, Tamara (Phillip) Harper of Zanesville, Deborah Harper Moyers of Chattanooga, TN and Alissa Harper Pease of Boston, MA. No calling hours will be observed. A private graveside service will be held at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery. Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville is entrusted with all arrangements.
