Jeannine Y. Francis

Jeannine Y. Francis, 89, of Zanesville, died at 6:47 P.M. on Wednesday, December 19, 2018, at Genesis Hospice-Morrison House, Zanesville. She was born January 18, 1929, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Kenneth Roy and Evelyn B. Dunmead James. She referred to her home as her "little castle" where she took pride in being a traditional homemaker and a devoted wife and mother. Jeannine was a member of Rhema House of Worship. She is survived by a daughter, Rebecca Francis of Columbus; a son, Steven (Sharon) Francis of Zanesville; two grandchildren, Stephanie (Cody) Ramsey and Shannon (Anthony) Kinner; four great-grandchildren, Jace and Giana Kinner and Talon and Titus Ramsey; and a sister Judy (Pete) Crowley of Nashport. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard A. Francis, whom she married October 19, 1947 and died January 15, 2014. No calling hours will be observed. A private family funeral service will be held at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, with Pastor Wes Kidwell officiating. She will be laid to rest alongside her husband at Greenwood Cemetery, Zanesville.
