Jeffrey A. Knaup

Jeffrey Alan Knaup, 47, of Nashport, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at 2:50 P.M. on Wednesday, July 22, 2015. He was born January 2, 1968, in Zanesville, a son of Joseph Knaup of Missouri and the late Charlotte Fritz Knaup. Jeff was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was a multi craft maintenance engineer at Sunfield Inc. Jeff was an amazing dad, papa, and husband. He was a great man of God who cherished his relationship with his son, adored his daughter and grandbabies and shared a truly great love with his wife. Jeff loved being out in the field on his tractor, playing darts, and yardsaling with his wife, riding his Harley, watching his son play soccer, playing with his dogs, and above all else worshiping the Lord and spending time with his family. This kind and wonderful man will be greatly missed by his wife, Kristina Renee Knaup of the home; son Jeffrey Alan Knaup II of the home; daughter Ashlie Dawn Samson (Ryan Cox) of Barlow; two grandbabies, Addy and Quinton Turner; two God-sons Neal and Frank Edwards of Zanesville; one brother Tim (Emily) Knaup of Missouri; three sisters-in-law, April (Jeff) Johnson of Newark, Teresa (Trevor) Murphy of Zanesville, and Sandra Maxwell of Zanesville; two nephews, Cody Dusenberry and TJ Knaup; two nieces, Courtnie (Brice) Taylor and Shania Wise; two great-nieces, Chloe and Zoey Taylor; mother-in-law and father-in-law Linda and Albert Roberts; and several extended family members. Friends and family may call from 2:00-4:00 P.M. & 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Friday, July 31, 2015, at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, where funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 1, 2015, with Minister Sandra Maxwell officiating. He will be laid to rest at Mt. Olive Cemetery, Zanesville, with military honors being presented by the United States Air Force in conjunction with VFW George Selsam Post #1058. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Jeffrey's college education at PNC Bank: 1719 Maysville Avenue, South Zanesville, Ohio 43701.
