Jerry E. Anderson

Jerry Eugene Anderson, 66, of Zanesville, died at 10:20 p.m. Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at the Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born November 26, 1941, in New Lexington, a son of Charles E. Anderson of New Lexington and the late Jean Zinn Anderson. He retired from Rockwell Inc. after 30 years of service in the shipping department. Surviving in addition to his father, are his wife of 45 years, Mary F. Lumb Anderson, whom he married June 8, 1963, of the home; two daughters, Gina (David) Childs and Erica Staszak, all of Zanesville; 6 grandchildren, Megan Childs, Brenton Childs, Slater Childs, Alexis Anderson, Leland Staszak and Joseph Staszak and two aunts, Ina Heskett of McConnelsville and Patricia Scarfros of New Lexington. Besides his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother, Lonnie Anderson. Friends may call 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Thursday, July 31, 2008 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 1, 2008 at the funeral home with the Pastor Tom Hughes officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Zanesville.
