Jerry L. Nelson, 71, of Zanesville, died at 12:01 A.M. on Friday, June 9, 2017, at his home. He was born March 9, 1946, in Zanesville, a son of Hugh and Lilian Adams Nelson. He was employed for over thirty years by Goodwill Industries. He is survived by two sisters, Barb Tignor and Laura (Edward) Peck of Zanesville; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, David, Bobby, Glenn, and Jackie; and a sister, Mary Louise. A Cremation-With-Care has taken place. Burial will take place at a later date at Williams Cemetery, Zanesville.
