Jerry C Vandagriff

Jerry C. Vandagriif, 66, of Zanesville, went to be with the Lord at 4:10 p.m. Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at his residence after a long courageous battle with cancer. He was born January 28, 1945, in Weirton, West Virginia, a son of the late Claude and Marge Mason Vandagriff. He retired in 2010 after 38 years of service as a machinist from the American Electric Power Conesville Power Plant and 12 years of AA (Garage Group) and the Friday Night Group. Surviving are his loving wife of 48 years, Pamela Wilkison Vandagriff, of the home; a daughter, Vicki (Gadi) Vandagriff Benhamo of New York; three sons, Troy (Kelli) Vandagriff of Zanesville, Terry (Tammy) Vandagriff of Philo and Jerrod (Katrina) Vandagriff of Zanesville; eleven grandchildren, Aharon and Hannah Benhamo of New York, Justin, Seth and Kim Vandagriff of Zanesville, Ashley, Kaliegh, Tyler and Lindsey Vandagriff of Philo, and Kyle and Keirra Vandagriff of Zanesville; four great grandchildren, Hunter and Kinzliegh Temple and Brianna and Caden Vandagriff; a sister, Loretta (Ivor) Rusk of Reynoldsburg; two brothers, Ronnie (Shirley) Vandagriff of Fairborn, OH and Jim (Connie) Vandagriff of Newark, OH; his mother and father-in-law, Seth (Anna Lee) Wilkison of Zanesville; a brother-in-law, Ronnie Wilkison of Zanesville; Honoring Jerry's wishes, a dignified cremation has taken place. Friends and family may call from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 26, 2011 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville.
