Jill Annette Fowler

Jill Annette Fowler, 69, of Zanesville died Saturday, September 20, 2014 at Genesis Hospice-Morrison House. She was born September 16, 1945, in Zanesville, a daughter of of Alice Searle Cabeen Hutchinson Varner of Zanesville and the late Harold (Hutch) Hutchinson. Jill was employed at Nickles Bakery, Pine Pizza, Good Samaritan Medical Center, and as a nanny for several Zanesville families. Jill was fun, friendly and kind - making friends wherever she went. She liked to travel, dance, sing, cook, decorate and shop - especially for antiques. In addition to her mother, She leaves behind her husband of 52 years John Fowler; four children, John (Abby) Fowler of Canton; Julie (Jack) McBride and Jodi (Tom) Cooper of Zanesville and Jackie (Tommy) Borkey of Wyomissing, PA, plus eleven grandchildren, Jake, Cagney, JD, Essie, Trill, Tommy, Josh, Noah, Andy, Matt, and Katie; and eleven great-grandchildren; brothers, Jack (Bonnie) Cabeen of San Diego, CA., Daniel (Susan) Cabeen) of Nashport and Phillip Hutchinson of Zanesville; sisters, Diane (David) Smithson of Corpus Christi, TX and Cynthia(Max) Baker of Newark. Friends and family will remember Jill at a Memorial Celebration on Saturday, September 27 at Noon, at Putnam Presbyterian Church, 467 Woodlawn Avenue, Zanesville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jill's honor to: Muskingum County Special Olympics at 1304 Newark Road, the Muskingum County Animal Shelter at 1430 Newark Road, or Putnam Presbyterian Church, 467 Woodlawn Avenue, all in Zanesville, OH.
