Jo Ann (Joan) Campfield, 79, of Zanesville, died at 8:52 p.m. Friday, May 11, 2012 at Willow Haven Care Center. She was born September 13, 1932 in Zanesville, a daughter of the late William D. And Gertrude Church Long. She was a self-employed care giver and a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church. Jo Ann dedicated her life to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Surviving are two daughters, Patty Baker and Betty Frame both of Roseville; a son, David Campfield of Roseville; Eleven grandchildren, Teresa, Kelly, Amy, Justin, TJ, Jaret, Wendy, Matt, Daniel, Holly and Bobby; Six great grandchildren, Slade, Alyssa, Grace, Paige, Lilah and Macie; two sisters, Anna Mae Spencer of Duncan Falls and June LaMay of Zanesville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl F. Campfield, who died in 1974; two sons, Billy and George Campfield; two daughters, Mary Campfield and Candy Williams; a son-in-law, Willis Baker; a grandson, David Campfield; two brothers, Ralph and William Long and a sister, Patricia Pierce. Friends may call from 9: 00 a.m. till 12:15 p.m. Monday, May 14, 2012 at Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday at St Nicholas Catholic Church, 925 Main Street, Zanesville, Ohio with Father Martin Ralko as celebrant. Jo Ann will be laid to rest beside her husband, Earl at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery, Zanesville.
