Joan Ruth (Mcdermott) Forrestal

Joan Ruth Forrestal, 81 years old, of Norwich, OH, died at 12:18 a.m. Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at the Muskingum County Home. She was born March 26, 1930, in Janesville, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Willard and Alice Hagerty McDermott and moved to Ohio in 1970. She completed her LPN Degree and was a co-founder of Adams Lane Nursing Home. Joan moved to Stuart, Florida in 1988 and enjoyed the warm weather and sunshine. She continued to work as a LPN until 2003. She is survived by her four sons, Mark (Deb), Tom (Nancy), Chris (Rhonda) and Dan (Theresa); 8 grandchildren, Patrick, Allison, Shane, Coleman (Kelsey), Luke, Lexy and Katie Forrestal and Branyon (Paul) Sensiba; and one brother, Eddie McDermott. She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Jimmy and her sister Shirley. Friends and family may call from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville. No services will be held.
