Joan E. Jasper, 72, of Zanesville, died at 3:35 p.m. Monday, September 12, 2005 at Genesis Hospice-Morrison House. She was born July 20, 1933 in Zanesville, Ohio to the late Hoadley and Velma Trout. She retired as the office manager for Dr. Sussman. Joan enjoyed traveling and spending her winters in Florida. Surviving are her husband, Carl E. Jasper, whom she married July 6, 1951, two daughters, Deborah Baker and Marcina (Steve ) Silver all of Zanesville, five grandchildren, Allison (Randy) McMillen of Zanesville, Jennifer (Greg ) Warrner of Marietta, Brad Silver of Coshocton, Jeremie Silver and Joshua Baker both of Zanesville, and five great granddaughters and a brother, Roger (Karen) Trout of Zanesville. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, September 15, 2005 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville where services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 16, 2005 with Dr. Marilyn Murphree officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park.
