Jo Anne (Hittle) Neal

Jo Anne Neal, 77, of Zanesville, died at 12:34 A.M. on Monday, March 13, 2023, at Altercare, Zanesville.  She was born June 7, 1945, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Walter and Mary (Meloy) Hittle. Jo Anne worked as the Cash Office Clerk at Riesbeck's and retired after 26 years at the Good Samaritan ADRP unit, she was a member of Washington Baptist Church, enjoyed bingo, poker, the game show network, slots, card club with the girls, gambling, loved her grandkids and adored horses.

She is survived by her two children, Terry and Laura (Snyder) Johnson and, Todd and Debra (Levering) Johnson; grandchildren, Cameron (Alyssa) Johnson and Jaden (Joe) Ratliffe; four great-grandchildren, Ella and Case Johnson, Brynlee and Jayce Ratliffe; her sister Peggy Kinley; and her brother Larry Hittle.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Marvin “Pudgie” Neal; two brothers Walter Hittle Jr. and Roger Hittle; and a sister Mary Lou Kirby.

Friends and family may call from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 16, 2023, at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, March 17, 2023, with Chaplain Tim Patton officiating.  She will be laid to rest at Washington Baptist Church Cemetery, Zanesville.
