John F. Bugglin

John F. Bugglin, 81, of Zanesville, died at 11:50 p.m. Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at Genesis Hospice-Morrison House. He was born June 14, 1928, in Zanesville, a son of the late John A. and Bessie L. Taylor Bugglin. He retired after 30 years of service in the Heat Treating Department for Rockwell International in Newark and served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. John also enjoyed farming and traveling. Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Eleanor Ruth Larson Bugglin, whom he married June 29, 1954, of the home; two daughters, Rebecca Ann (JR.) Mueller of Somerset and Joan F. Sisson of Zanesville; three sons, John A. (Tracey) Bugglin of New Concord, Paul J. (Lisa) Bugglin and Robert (Traci) Bugglin, both of Zanesville; two sisters, Alice (Richard) West and Dorothy Bugglin, both of Zanesville; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Charles, Harold, and Walter; and two sisters, Helen Cosgrave and Florence Wayne. Friend may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday, November 15, 2009 at BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 16, 2009 at the funeral home with Rev. Mark Noe officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park. VFW George Selsam Post 1058 in conjunction with the United States Army will hold full military rites at the gravesite.
