John C. Dagneau

John C. Dagneau, 79, of Nashport, died at 7:27 A.M. on Tuesday, February 24, 2015, at the Genesis Good Samaritan Emergency Room. He was born January 4, 1936, in Sherbrooke, Quebec, a son of the late Calixte and Blanche Sullivan Dagneau. He worked as Middle Manager for Atlantic Cement, attended First Christian Church, and was an avid bridge player, and loved to golf. Surviving are his wife of 30 years, Ellen Bathrick Dagneau, whom he married February 22, 1985; a daughter Kim Elizabeth Rak of Santa Fe, NM; a grandson Gable Rak of Santa Fe, NM; two brothers, Guy (Violet) Dagneau of Coquitlan, BC, and David Dagneau of Portland, OR; a sister Marie Hale of Portland, OR; and special cousins, Roger, Andreé and Gilles Goyette. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Dianne Perry. No calling hours will be observed and a dignified cremation has taken place. Arrangements were entrusted to the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE.
