John R. "Jack" Fisher, 61, of Zanesville, died at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at his home. He was born October 8, 1954 in New Lexington, a son of the late Rodney and Betty Dreese Fisher. He worked for Peabody Coal Company for 19 years as a coal miner. Jack was a catholic by faith. Surviving are his loving wife of the home, Debbie Freriks Fisher, whom he married on November 2, 1974; a daughter, Christina Fisher Wolfe of New Lexington; a son, Scott Fisher of Zanesville; four grandchildren, Allison Wolfe, Alan Wolfe, Nathan Fisher and Zachary Fisher; four brothers, Joe (Jamie) Fisher of New Lexington, Steve (Mary) Fisher of New Lexington, Tom (Phillip) Fisher of New York City, NY and Bill Fisher of New Lexington; five sisters, Mary Ann Kiener of New Lexington, Cathy Sweeney of Junction City, Barb (Bob) Patterson of New Lexington, Emily Storts of New Lexington, Mick (Jim) Hudak of New Lexington; a special son-in-law, Tim Wolfe of McConnelsville; many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers Ed and Danny Fisher. Friends and family may call from 3:00 -7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE.
