John William Tate

JOHN WILLIAM TATE, age 60, of 3125 East Pike, died at 3:45 am Saturday, May 15, 2004 at the ODC Nursing Home. He was born March 11, 1944 in Zanesville, the son of the late Chauncey and Grace McDowell Tate. Mr. Tate was a retired respiratory therapist. He was a member of the Union Baptist Church where he sang in the church choir. Surviving are a daughter, Denise Tate of N. J., two sisters, Bernadine Thomas and Helen Tate of Zanesville, two brothers, Robert Tate and Clyde Tate, both of Zanesville, several nieces and nephews. Friends may call 9:00 am till 11:00 am Tuesday, May 18, 2004 at the Bolin Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville. A graveside service will be held at 11:30 am Tuesday, May 18, 2004 at Woodlawn Cemetery with Rev. Raleigh Ragland officiating.
