Joseph R. Benjamin

JOSEPH R. BENJAMIN, age 78, of Philo, Ohio, died at 7:30 pm Friday, June 11, 2004 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born January 4, 1926, in Philo the son of the late Clarence E. and Addie Lane Benjamin. Mr. Benjamin was a retired construction pipe fitter and a WW 2 Navy Veteran. Surviving are his wife, Berniece Jenkins Benjamin,(Married September 9, 1961), one daughter Pamela (David) Tetak of Philo, one son, John (Crystal) Benjamin of Philo, and one step son, Tom (Bonnie) Jenkins of Duncan Falls, three grandchildren, one step grandchild, two step great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, including two special nieces, Karen (Susie) Snyder and Sandy Johnson. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister and one brother. Friends may call 9:00 am till 11:00 am Monday, June 14, 2004 at the Bolin Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville, Ohio. Graveside services will be held at 11:30 am Monday, June 14, 2004 at the Duncan Falls Cemetery.
