Josephine M. Clapper

Josephine M. Clapper, 96, of Georgetown, Delaware, died at 7:15 p.m. Saturday, December 6, 2008 at Harrison Senior Living. She was born July 31, 1912, in Mansoreta, Italy, a daughter of the late Joseph and Felmona Nardi Manno. She was a member of the Fair Oaks Baptist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Joan E. Hina of Millsboro, Delaware; three brothers, Joseph Manno of Garrettsville, OH., Ralph Manno of Richmond, KY. and James Manno of Grafton, WV; a sister, Victoria Sallese of Port Orange, Florida; two grandchildren, Adam C. Hina of Allen, Texas and Rhonda Hina Davis of Dagsboro, Delaware; two great-grandchildren, Hannah and Helen Davis of Dagsboro, Delaware. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Clapper, who died October 8, 1988 and a sister, Mary Carkido. No calling hours will be observed. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, December 12, 2008 at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Carl Finley officiating. Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville is entrusted with all arrangements.
