Josephine I. Hildebrand

Josephine I. Hildebrand, age 91, of 2991 N. Maple Ave., died at 5:18 p.m. Sunday, March 27, 2005 at the Genesis Health Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was born July 14, 1913 in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of the late Charles and Beatrice Groce Young. Mrs. Hildebrand spent most of her life in the Zanesville area, was a longtime member of the St Thomas Catholic Church, and was a member of the Daughters of Isabella. Mrs. Hildebrand was a former Nursing Assistant, taking care of private patients. Surviving are five daughters, Dottie Wagstaff of Avalon Beach, FL., Judie Nelson of Zanesville, Jeanne Schneider of Kirkersville, Patty Moore of Zanesville and Francie Zemba of Zanesville, five sons, William L. Hildebrand Jr. of Zanesville, Robert J. Hildebrand of Zanesville, David J. Hildebrand of Zanesville, Kenneth C. Hildebrand of Dresden, and Richard E. Hildebrand of Zanesville, a sister, Carrol Channel of Dayton, twenty eight grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William L. Hildebrand Sr. Who died December 12, 1993, a daughter Paula Marie Hildebrand who died in 1958, a grandson Kelly Hildebrand who died in 1996 and by three sisters and three brothers. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 29, 2005 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2005 at St. Thomas Catholic Church with Father Thomas DiFede as celebrant. Burial will follow at Mt Olive Cemetery, Zanesville. A Vigil Service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Vincent De Paul Society of the St. Thomas Catholic Church.
