Judy Lynn Richmond, 67, of Zanesville, died at 1:20 p.m. Friday, January 28, 2011 at The Ohio State University Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born in Canton, Ohio on February 5, 1943, a daughter of the late James and Doll Dunfee Waers. She was a member of the Faith United Methodist Church. Judy loved animals, especially dogs and cats. She was a devoted wife and a very loving mother, grandmother and sister. Surviving are four sons; Jim (Lois) Richmond of Wildomar, CA, David (Melissa) Richmond of New Philadelphia, Oh., Lance (Trudy) Richmond of Pittsfield, Maine and Jason Richmond of Zanesville; a sister, Linda (Dan) Hennessey of Zanesville;nine grandchildren, Hillary, Bryan, Ashleigh, Makenzie, Tracer, Taylor, Carter, Emily and Sekret; a nephew, Ralph (Raven) Hennessey; a niece, Julie (Todd) Sands, both of Zanesville; three great nieces, Jennifer, Jessica and Mary; an aunt, June Sprout of Wooster, Ohio, and a special friend, Wayne Clark of Zanesville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lance Richmond who died in 1996. Friends and family may call from 6-8 p.m. Monday, January 31, 2011 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at the funeral home with Pastor Rob Turner officiating. Judy will be laid to rest in Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
