Julia L. Edmonson, 60, of Zanesville, died at 11:49 P.M. on Thursday, January 27, 2022, at Genesis Hospice-Morrison, Zanesville. She was born June 19, 1961 in Zanesville, a daughter of Glenn and Sylvia (Powell) Dawson. She was a member of the Jehovah’s Witness South congregation. Julia retired from J.C. Penney’s after twenty-three and one half years, and was a gifted quilter, and enjoyed sewing and doing puzzles.
She is survived by her husband of forty-one and one half years, John “Kevin” Edmonson, whom she married September 13, 1980; two daughters, Erin Morrison and Kelly Edmonson; six grandchildren, Tyler, Ethan, and Natalie Morrison and Adeline, Edith, and Colette Shreiner; and numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Lori McCoy.
Friends and family may call from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. on Monday, January 31, 2022 at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE. A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at Woodlawn Cemetery, Zanesville, with Rick Kotoff officiating.
A Memorial Service will also take place at a later date with Alan Edmonson officiating.
