June Elizabeth Allen

June Elizabeth Allen, 84, of Zanesville died at 4:25 A.M. Friday, August 5, 2005 at Willow Haven Care Center. She was born June 15, 1921 at Newark, a daughter of the late Matthew & Bessie Vance O'Hara. She was a catholic by faith, a member of the VFW and American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. Allen was a former secretary and bookkeeper. Surviving are two daughters, Kaye Quinlan and Chris (Dennis) Polvinale, all of Zanesville, a son, Robert M. ( Nora) Allen of Zanesville, a sister, Diane McClellan of Zanesville, a brother, Paul (Helen) O'Hara of Sebring, Fla., eight grandchildren, Angie Rexroad, Wendy Lee, Mindy Allen, Jess Allen, Matthew Allen, Shane Allen, Angie (Pooh) Morrison, and Sean Polvinale; and several great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard L. Allen, who died June 4, 1996, a son, Richard Allen, a sister, Mildred Wilcox and by two brothers, George and James O'Hara. No calling hours will be observed. A caring cremation has taken place. Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville are entrusted with all arrangements.
