June Eileen (Shackelford) Braden

June Eileen Braden, 91, of Zanesville, died at The Oaks at Northpointe on Sunday, May 14, 2017. June was born on April 27, 1926 in Cambridge, a daughter of the late Walter L. and Gertrude P. Amore Shackelford. She moved to Zanesville soon after birth and was a life time resident, except for a year in high school when she attended Phoenix, Arizona. June was a graduate of Lash High School and attended Meredith Business College. She was a switch board operator for the Ohio Bell Telephone Company, where she worked there during World War II. She later was an accountant for W. J. Heck Coast, Hugh White Chev and the Zanesville Country Club. Surviving are a son, Douglas (Mary Ann) Braden of Seven Fields, PA; a daughter, Cynthia Braden Hagan; grandchildren, Tara (Matt) Krepp, Jennifer (Mark) Villella, Eric Douglas Hagan and Laura Beth Hagan; and three great grandsons; Vinci and Tino Villella and Braden Krepp. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her former husband, Kenneth Braden and a brother, Robert Shackelford.
