June A. June-Bug Perone, 85, of Zanesville, died at 12:18 P.M. Monday, October 3, 2016 after her fervent prayers for release from the pain and suffering of her life on this earth were answered while in the care of the Angels at Morrison House. She was born October 1, 1931 in Zanesville, the daughter of the late Lawrence and Mary Miller. She retired from the Medical Records Department at Good Samaritan Medical Center in 1992 after over twenty years of service. She was a 20 year volunteer for Hospice, a member of Riverside Grange, and most importantly to her, a lifelong and very active member of Central Presbyterian Church and one of its outreaches, the Fellowship of Christ's Community. Surviving are daughters, Mary and Deb Perone, nephew and handyman Larry Joswick, two nieces and a nephew. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald R. 'Pete' Perone and a sister Norma Jean Joswick. Per June's request, there will be no calling hours and a private burial has taken place. Her life will be celebrated during worship at Central Presbyterian Church on October 23rd, starting at 10:15 A.M. June asked that no one send flowers as 'that money could be better spent' supporting the outreaches of Central Presbyterian Church at 40 N. 6th St. or Genesis Hospice at 713 Forrest Ave. both of Zanesville, Ohio 43701.
