Kathleen M. Mautz

Kathleen M. "Kathy" Mautz, 57 , of Zanesville went to be with her heavenly Father at 4 a.m. Saturday, August 16, 2008 at the Cleveland Clinic after a lengthy illness. She was born July 1, 1951 in Zanesville a daughter of Barbara Ann Archer Greulich and the late James L. Greulich. Kathy graduated from ZHS in1969 and a 1971 graduate of MATC. She was a secretary for 37 years for Oxford Oil, was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church and attended Immanuel United Church of Christ, was a member of the Women of Faith,, member of Zanesville Athletic Boosters for 20 years, She volunteered at the Zanesville High School Concession Stands, was a scorekeeper for Zanesville High School Lady Devils Basketball and was manager for Muskingum Valley All Star Team, longtime volunteer for Field Day at Westview Elementary and a member of the Eagles Lodge Auxiliary # 302. Surviving is her mother, Barbara Ann Greulich of Zanesville, her husband, Loren E. Mautz, whom she married July 8, 1972, of the home, a daughter, Kathryn " Kay" (Barry Jr.) Israel of Zanesville; a son, Dale E. Mautz and fiancee Kellee Charron of Manchester, New Hampshire; a sister, Christine ( Tom) Evans of Zanesville; two brothers, Harold Greulich and Claude ( Dawn) Greulich all of Zanesville; three grandchildren, Barry Wayne and James Michael Israel and Ryleigh Lynn Mautz; father-in-law, Dale H. Mautz of Zanesville; several nieces and nephews. Besides her father, she was preceded in death her mother-in-law, Juanita M. Mautz. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, August 21, 2008 at the funeral home with Pastor Mitch Reed officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park.
