Kathryn E. (Dover) Miller

October 18, 1918 — April 16, 2014

Kathryn Eleanor Miller, 95, of Zanesville, died at 8:25 A.M. on Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at Willow Haven Care Center. She was born October 18, 1918, in Roseville, a daughter of the late Charles and Eva Jenkins Dover. She graduated from Lash High School, and the Meredith Business College. Kathryn had worked as a Legal Secretary for Attorney Holbein, and also as a Secretary for the American Red Cross. She was a member of Fair Oaks Baptist Church, Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 485, and of Amaranth Zane Court #36. Surviving are a daughter Marilyn (Stanley) Stalnaker of Hopewell; two sons, Earl (Vicki) Miller of Zanesville and Dr. Johnny Miller of Kent; five grandchildren, Jodi (Brian) Drake, Brian (Sonja) Miller, Trisha (Todd) Taylor, Eve (Todd) VanReeth, and Melissa (John) Fuller; and thirteen great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband John Miller, who died in 1993. Friends and family may call from 6:00-8:00 P.M., with an Eastern Star Service at 5:45 P.M., on Friday, April 18, 2014, at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, where funeral services will be held at 9:30 A.M. on Saturday, April 19, 2013, with Rev. Dawn Remster officiating. She will be laid to rest at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery, Zanesville.
