Kathryn R. Odell

Kathryn R. Odell, 88, of New Haven, Kentucky, died at 2:00 a.m. Thursday, May 1, 2008 at her home. She was born October 21, 1919, in Columbus, Ohio, a daughter of the late Kenneth and Ruth Wilson Morton. She was a homemaker and a Methodist by faith. Kathryn was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. Surviving are a son, Richard J. (Jean) Odell of New Haven, Kentucky; two daughters, Susan (William) Hill of San Benito, Texas and Kathleen (Don) Shroyer of Nashport, Ohio; seven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren and a sister-in-law, Irene Mullins of Joplin, Missouri. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Randall F. Odell, who died December 4, 2005; a son, Virgil Edward Legat; a sister, Betty Cain and a brother, William Walker. No calling hours will be observed. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, May 5, 2008 at Irville Cemetery, Nashport, Ohio with Rev. Jeff Belt officiating.
