Kathryn R. (Greiner) Tarbert

Kathryn R. Greiner Tarbert, 77, of Zanesville, passed away with her loving family by her side at 1:00 a.m. Sunday, December 11, 2011 at Emeritus at North Hills. She was born May 15, 1934 in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Bill and Mildred Eddy Greiner Sr. She was a member of Immanuel United Church of Christ, retired from Bethesda Hospital in the accounting department. She was a former member of the La Sertoma Club. Surviving are her beloved husband, Dick Tarbert, whom she married June 5, 1955, of the home; loving mother of Rick (Laura) Tarbert of Pataskala, and David (Emily) Tarbert of Zanesville; doting grandmother to Jason ( Keri) Tarbert, Hannah Tarbert, Ellie Tarbert and Truman Tarbert; beloved "Aunt Sally" to several special nieces and nephews and a wonderful sister-in-law, Phyllis Greiner of Zanesville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Bill Greiner Jr., a sister, Jean Denney and a brother-in-law, Russell Denney. Friends and family may call from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at the funeral home with Pastor Mitch Reed officiating. She will be laid to rest at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery, Zanesville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Genesis Hospice, 713 Forest Avenue, Zanesville, Ohio 43701.
