Kathryn A. Terry

Kathryn A. "Kate" Terry, 87, of Zanesville, died at 1:16 a.m. Sunday, May 30, 2010 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital. She was born November 18, 1922 in Roseville, Ohio, a daughter of the late John and Mary Vulcano Scarpella . She was a homemaker and a member of Immanuel United Church of Christ. Surviving are two sons, Larry Gatewood of Birmingham, Alabama and Terry (Lana) Gatewood of Ft. Myers, Florida; a son-in-law, Kelly L. Ryan of Zanesville; three grandchildren, Cole ( Amity) Ryan of Zanesville and Clay Ryan of Zanesville and Todd ( Marcia Jo )Gatewood of Birmingham, Alabama ; three great grandchildren, Krystyn Gatewood and Matthew Gatewood both of Birmingham, Alabama and Corbin Ryan of Zanesville. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Charles Terry, who died October 31, 2004 and a daughter, Jodi Terry Ryan who died April 15, 1998. Friends may call from 9- 11 a.m.on Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday with Rev. Mitch Reed officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park.
