Katie Ann Jenkins

Katie Ann Jenkins,18, of Zanesville, passed away at 5:17 p.m. Tuesday, April 20, 2004 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital. She was born April 5, 1986 in Zanesville, the daughter of Vicki Jenkins of Zanesville and Jack Jenkins Jr. of Urbana Ohio. Katie was a senior at Maysville High School and an active member of many school activities. She was a member of the St. Nicholas Catholic Church and was employed by Pac Sun at the Mall. In addition to her parents, she is survived by one brother Brian, grandparents, Larry and Pat Kane of Zanesville, Jack and Mary Jenkins of Newport News, VA, a great grandmother, Corrine Ryner of Monmouth Ill., aunts, Mary Kane, Michele (Fred) Carter, Paula (Scott) Bell,Cindy (Andy) DeMarco, one uncle, Michael Jenkins, cousins,Sean, Ryan, Michael, Mason, Travis and Andrea. Katie leaves behind a multitude of friends and her special dog, Copper. Friends may call 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 23, 2004 at the Bolin Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville, Ohio. A funeral liturgy will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 24, 2004 at the St Nicholas Catholic Church with Father Leo Connolly officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park.
