Kenneth W. Darr

Kenneth W. Darr, age 78, of Mt. Perry, Ohio, died at 1:54 p.m. Saturday, December 25, 2004 at the Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born August 12, 1926 in Coshocton County, the son of the late Roy E. & Nellie Wright Darr. Mr. Darr was the former owner of the Darr Heating and Cooling Co., a member of the God's Acres Church of God, served as a Grandpa for the Perry County Head Start Program. He served his country in the Army during WW II. Surviving are two daughters, Faye (Dennis) Dearth of Defiance, OH., and Debbie (Brad) St. Clair of Chandlersville, five sons, David (Wanda) Darr of Woodstock, GA., Daniel (Sherry) Darr of Dresden OH., Dale (Annette) Darr of Harkers Is., N.C., Doug (Kathy) Darr of Zanesville, and Dana (Sharon) Darr of Conneaut OH., one sister, Mary Lonsinger of Mt. Vernon OH. and one brother, Harold (Edith) Darr of Winchester Ky., fourteen grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Ralph Darr. Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, December 27, 2004 at the Bolin Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville, and one hour prior to services at the God's Acres Church of God, Cedar St., Newark, OH. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 28, 2004 at the church with Pastor Roger Decker and Rev. Dale Darr officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
